12 Happy Chickens

I was tagged by the wonderful Rosie over at Smokey Mountain Breakdown  who was spreading some link love around. 

 Here are the meme rules.

1. We have to post these rules before we give you the facts. 2. Players start with eight random facts/habits about themselves. 3. I’ll go along with Rosie on this one and not tag anyone– I will also help her with starting the trend for a no strings meme. So, if your reading this and you want to, consider your self tagged. Just leave me a comment if you do decide to do the meme.

So, here we go- 8 random things about me-me.

1. I married husband on Friday the 13th- no really, I did. The reason is really quite sweet though.
2. I have 9 tattoos- I recieved my first when I was 18 years old- my mom took me for the first one (above) and the last one was my last because my father threatened to start carving them off one by one with his buck knife at age 21- I don’t think he was serious but it worked. I do love most of them, but could have done without a few, yet I would like to get just one more to even the number out.
3. I was born, raised, and still reside in Minnesota but I have lived in Farmington New Mexico, Fort Madison Iowa, and Smithville Tennessee
4. I have been to every state in the union except for Alaska & Hawaii
5. I have a HUGE thing for cowboys. The ones from Texas & Tennessee with tight, tight, wranglers and a lid could make me…..
6. I almost (see #6) married a man from Smithville TN. He was still married though- he was working on the divorce but hadn’t really started it yet, and lied to me none the less… He kept this secret from me for over a year and so did his family- I had quit my job, moved to Tennessee, and was living in the same town as his wife. She knew about me, yet I was told he had an ex-wife, not an almost ex-wife.
7. I don’t like liars and I don’t forget!
8. Husband isn’t a cowboy, but if you get enough liquor in him- he’ll sing “Save a horse, ride a cowboy“.
