Pump it Up

No it is not a mirage, it really is water folks!
So, we have been holding out, wondering, waiting, and looking at costs for a new well vs. pump.
The last few days of my life have went something like this; Take a shower, water horses, ducks, and chickens and wait. Cross your fingers, skip showers, water chickens run out of water- swear, sweat, and wait for water level to rise again. A few days later try and wash a load of clothes, fill washer only 1/4 of the way, run out of water.
FINALLY have enough, call husband, tell him to get this #$##@ thing fixed, he calls well guy, and next day we have water. It took all of an hour and a half to pull the pump, measure the water, look at said pump, decide this is the real PROBLEM!
No offence to the men out there, but why wait? I still don’t understand this… And they say women are hard to figure out!
I have no idea why they do that…it’s one of life’s little mysteries, they all do it
I’m happy that you finally have water again! Congratulations!
Isn’t it amazing how we take running water for granted until it’s gone? Then we find out what a real luxury it is! Enjoy!
Glad you have water again … an essential!
Why men do that? Why do men do ANYTHING????? They truly ARE from Mars!
Oh no! are you going through the dry well thing like I was? I tell you, if that pump burns up like mine did…it take months to get that dreadful smell out of the pipes.
I’m okay now, but I had an extra 100 feet to drop the new pump down.
