The Best of 2007

Photo Friday’s pick for this week is best of 2007. Since only last week I joined Photo Friday I don’t have a “best of” photo that I submitted. So, I am going off on own and picking the best photo I took this year. I took some 5676 photos this year, and we since we still have a few days left this year there will be more.
This photo was taken while my husband, our two dogs, and I were on a hot sultry Saturday afternoon road trip this past fall. We took off just to cool down a bit and check out the crops. The sun was setting and I had to go to the bathroom (too much info?) so husband stopped on the side of the road and as I was doing my business I spotted this flower on the side of the road. I had to grab the camera real quick as I was losing light quickly, but it turned out wonderfully.
That IS a beautiful photo. I didn’t participate in this week’s photo Friday theme because I couldn’t imagine picking just one photo. The agony
