Passage of Time: The Million Dollar Farm.
I found it a few years ago while I was out poking around the dirt roads of Yellow Medicine County and I visit it often–I guess I am a bit obsessed as to why it sits empty. What I have found out thus far is back in the 40’s or 50’s some people built this place for a state of the art milking operation. Shortly after the place was up and running some kind of disease came through killing all of the animals. I have been told that they went bankrupt and the place has never been in use again.
How cool! I want to go see that someday! Maybe in the spring?
