Beltaine, May Day, The First Day of Summer

It’s time to celebrate the strengthening sun, longer days, and creation in general but this holiday I am celebrating ME. I am slowly blossoming back into the gal I use to be. The one who is not afraid to say what she thinks, can take on just about anything, and holds her head high on any occasion. I feel good!
Dancing blood within my veins,
Cast off all that now restrains,
Pulsing petals, waxing openThrum and thrust, pink, white and green,
Now be felt and now be seen
Lightening brightening in my hands
As it’s felt in me, so in the land!For union felt like a rising tide
May love and power in us reside
For the marriage of the green ones and the land
Heart and soul be hand and hand!
