12 Happy Chickens is a place where I can celebrate my passions for animals, sustainability, organic gardening, and country life.
Also, long and low flat top peterbilts, teapots, vintage barnifacts, tattoos, paganism, and natural handmade soaps- oh, didn’t I tell you? I own Wild Wind Soap Company in Southwestern Minnesota. I work from home to keep my life simple.
I live on this farm with my husband, 2 dogs- Harley Rose and Dottie, 3 make that 4 cats- Sweet Pea, Sasser, Jackson & Squeaky Monroe, 2 horses- Kassys Dream & Sweet Betsy Showdown, 15 mallard ducks (bug control) that will fly away this fall(they’re gone) and lastly but certainly not least my 12 make that 16 15 happy chickens.
I keep life simple, try to walk on this earth lightly and make the most of every day we have.
