Today we cleaned the barn of all pumpkins, squash, & watermelon we have been storing. We try to keep as much in the barn up until the deep freeze comes on full blast. It was hard to think about a deep freeze since it was 60 degrees out today.

OK-I have been slacking in the chicken department. I figure since they spread the love (and manure) I should do the same. This is after all 12 happy chickens right? My chickens love me, they wait for me to come out the door and mostly they wait for food- mostly.
